Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of workers’ compensation claims coordination, risk management, or safety experience.
• Knowledge of workers’ compensation laws, OSHA regulations, and safety best practices.
• Strong organization, communication, and analytical skills.
• Bilingual required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Able to work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Willing to reassign within North Denver area.

Responsibilities

• Manage workers’ compensation claims from start to finish.
• Input claims into insurance system for provider review.
• Coordinate with medical providers, managers, and employees about work restrictions and return-to-work programs.
• Monitor open claims and support return-to-work programs.
• Maintain confidential claims files and documentation.
• Analyze claims trends and prepare leadership reports.
• Gather witness statements, photos, and documentation to support claims.
• Recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Assist in development and maintenance of workplace safety programs and procedures.
• Investigate workplace accidents and near-miss incidents.
• Support inspections in compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and county regulations.
• Track and report safety metrics and incidents.
• Maintain, stock and track PPE; serve as Co-Chair of Safety Committee.
• Support in-person safety training across shifts.
