Job summary

Our client, an A-rated Insurance Carrier, is seeking a Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist to handle Colorado Lost Time claims from inception to close. This role offers fully remote work and requires strong experience with mid to complex claims.

Key duties include negotiating settlements with injured workers and attorneys, overseeing investigations, guiding counsel, and representing the company at settlement conferences for serious injuries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience handling Colorado Workers' Compensation claims.
• Experience handling litigated files.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle moderate to complex Colorado Workers' Compensation claims from inception to close.
• Negotiate settlements with injured workers and attorneys.
• Ensure proper investigation of the underlying facts and circumstances, proper experts are retained and utilized where necessary, selection and utilization of counsel is appropriate, proper negotiation strategy is employed.
• Provides direction to legal counsel and manages litigation process.
• Attend settlement conferences on serious injury claims.

Our client, an A-rated Insurance Carrier, is looking to add a Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist with strong knowledge in handling Colorado lost time claims. Duties will consist of handling mid to complex Colorado Workers' Compensation Lost Time claims from inception to close. Qualified candidates can work fully remote!

• Handle moderate to complex Colorado Workers' Compensation claims from inception to close.
• Pending will range from 85 - 95 claims.
• Negotiate settlements with injured workers and attorneys.
• Ensure appropriate investigation of the underlying facts and circumstances are carried out, proper experts are retained and utilized where necessary, selection and utilization of counsel is appropriate, proper negotiation strategy is employed.
• Provides direction to legal counsel and manages litigation process.
• Attend settlement conferences on serious injury claims.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience handling Colorado Workers Compensation claims.
• Must have experience handling litigated files.
• Excellent Customer Service and Organizational skills.
• High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.

Salary/Benefits

• $90,000 to $110,000 annual base salary plus 10% Target bonus
