Job summary

Gifthealth Inc. is seeking an Automation Maintenance Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated systems powering pharmacy fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical/vocational certification in automation, electronics, mechatronics, industrial maintenance, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience maintaining or troubleshooting automated production or material handling equipment.
• Experience with PLCs, robotics, or industrial control systems (Preferred). Healthcare/pharma/regulatory environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and calibration of automated fulfillment equipment and robotics.
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Follows Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), arc-flash, and other electrical safety procedures when servicing automated equipment.
• Supports installation, testing, and commissioning of new automated equipment and system upgrades.
• Documents maintenance activities, equipment performance, and downtime incidents using the CMMS and in line with SOPs.
• Tracks spare parts usage and flags reorder needs to support parts availability.
• Partners with Automation Specialists and Engineers to escalation complex issues and support root cause analysis.
• Assists with training staff on proper use and basic troubleshooting of automated systems.
