Job summary

Symbotic is seeking an Automation Maintenance Technician to service its automated storage and retrieval systems and robotic adapters. You will be responsible for inspection, calibration, repair, and ongoing operation to maximize throughput and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics, automotive, automation, manufacturing or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with mechanical automation systems or equivalent training.
• Ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical diagrams and follow schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on Automated Storage and Retrieval System components and related adapters/lifts.
• Lead ongoing operation by calibrating, repairing, and replacing system components as needed.
• Troubleshoot automated robotic vehicle anomalies using schematics and test equipment.
• Document repairs and parts used in the CMMS with clear notes and labor.
• Communicate production-impacting issues and estimated repair times to the team.
