Job summary

Gifthealth Inc. is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, optimize, and scale automated systems that support high-volume pharmacy fulfillment. You will partner with engineering, pharmacy operations, and automation teams to improve throughput, reduce errors, and ensure processes meet regulatory and operational requirements.

The role focuses on building scalable, reliable processes while maintaining accuracy, quality, and compliance in a fast-paced, growth-oriented healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical engineering or related field required.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt) preferred.
• 3+ years in manufacturing process engineering, automation, or operations engineering required.
• Experience with automated production systems, robotics, or material handling preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP/FDA regulatory frameworks and healthcare environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements automated manufacturing and fulfillment processes.
• Analyzes workflows to improve throughput, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Develops SOPs and standard documentation.
• Conducts time studies, mapping, and capacity planning for scaling operations.
• Collaborates with robotics, software, and hardware teams to integrate automation systems.
• Leads continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma.
• Monitors KPIs and implements improvements.
