Jobot is hiring a Bookkeeper in New York for a privately owned real estate client with a portfolio of restaurant properties. The ideal candidate has hands-on bookkeeping experience in the restaurant industry and will support day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities on-site in New York.

You will manage bank and card reconciliations, AP/AR, and monthly statements, participate in month-end close, and prepare management reports.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Prior bookkeeping/accounting experience in the restaurant industry required.
• Experience managing books for multiple entities preferred.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple restaurant entities.
• Record and reconcile bank, credit card, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Maintain accurate general ledgers and supporting schedules.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations.
• Track invoices, expenses, deposits, and other restaurant-related transactions.
• Coordinate with restaurant operators and vendors to resolve accounting issues.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records across multiple entities.
• Assist with ad hoc accounting and administrative projects.
