Job summary

Encore Community Services in Midtown Manhattan seeks a Residential Coordinator for the Encore 49 Residence, an SRO project. You will assist residents with daily living activities, coordinate health and wellness programs, and help foster a caring community on-site.

The role requires strong listening and communication skills, a caregiver mindset, and the ability to work Tue-Sat, 35 hours weekly. A Bachelor’s is preferred; CNA/HHA certification is a plus and benefits include comprehensive coverage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• High school diploma accepted with experience; CNA/HHA certification considered.
• CNA or HHA certification will be considered for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and foster a trusting relationship with residents.
• Monitor and document medication administration and health concerns per policy.
• Coordinate with staff to support residents' wellness, nutrition, and safety.
• Assist with coordinating transportation, appointments, and activities.
• Maintain accurate records and respond to communications in a timely manner.
• Support residents’ participation in social, educational, and recreational activities.
• Assist with orientation, move-in/out processes, and documentation.
