Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California seeks a dedicated Residence Manager at the Pasadena ARC. You will oversee facility management, supervise staff, ensure safety, and coordinate resident activities within program guidelines.

The role requires on-site residence, a valid California CDL with passenger endorsement, and commitment to program values. Benefits include PTO and employee discounts; starting pay is $18.58 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Program graduate with continuing involvement in a recovery program preferred.
• Ability to supervise beneficiaries as revealed by experience, training, and/or interview.
• Valid California Driver’s License with passenger endorsement within 45 days.
• Integrity, resourcefulness, initiative and evidence of self-improvement.
• Must reside on-site in room designated for Residence Manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds/buildings and coordinate repairs per Administrator guidance.
• Supervise residence staff (desk, canteen, laundry, janitorial) and train as needed.
• Oversee special projects and material ordering for residence operations.
• Supervise Breathalyzer testing and urine sample collection as required.
• Provide crisis counseling and coordinate resident activities and events.
• Drive Salvation Army passenger van as part of duties.
• Maintain records and statistics; coordinate vacation coverage.
• Ensure ARC safety regulations and maintain confidentiality.
