Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking an ARP Resident Manager to support the on-site residential program. You will enforce house rules, supervise daily operations, and oversee staff and volunteers during evenings and early mornings.

The role includes crisis intervention, coordinating leisure activities, conducting bed checks, administering medications per physician orders, maintaining records, and transporting residents to activities while upholding confidentiality and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–2 years related job experience.
• Valid California Class C Driver License.
• Ability to complete The Salvation Army vehicle course training.

Responsibilities

• Enforce house rules and ensure security during evenings and early mornings.
• Live onsite at the ARP facility.
• Provide crisis intervention when required and escalate to Program staff as needed.
• Supervise leisure time activities and monitor canteen/day rooms.
• Conduct bed checks as scheduled and maintain orderly residence.
• Administer medications per physician prescription and keep medication logs.
• Prepare and share schedules, rosters, and communications for residents and Chapel services.
• Attend required meetings and document daily reports and finances.
• Transport beneficiaries to outside activities and meetings.
