Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking an Onsite Adult Rehabilitation Program (ARP) Resident Manager to oversee the residence, enforce house rules, and ensure safety during evening hours. You will live onsite, conduct bed checks, supervise activities, and administer medications as directed by physicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–2 years related job experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Enforce arP house rules and ensure security during evening/early morning hours.
• Live onsite on ARP or Transitional Living property.
• Crisis intervention with beneficiaries as needed.
• Plan and supervise leisure activities for residents.
• Conduct bed checks and ensure the residence is clean and orderly.
• Monitor activities in canteen, day rooms, and food service when Kitchen Coordinator is off.
• Administer and document drug/alcohol testing as required.
• Maintain confidential policies and report violations to Program Staff daily.
• Maintain medication logs and distribute medications per physician orders.
• Provide schedules, rosters, announcements for residence and Chapel services.
• Orientation for new beneficiaries and attend required meetings.
• Distribute daily reports and oversee in-house classes and meetings.
