Job summary

VOALA is hiring a Resident Care Manager I in Los Angeles to advocate for residents and provide intensive case management to eligible clients. You will meet participants weekly and coordinate services and care with a broad team of professionals to connect them with essential resources.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field and relevant experience; on-site work with a focus on facilitating access to supportive services and housing resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health or related discipline.
• 1 year minimum experience with homeless individuals.
• Experience with mental illness, chronic health issues and substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for residents and coordinate services weekly.
• Conduct comprehensive screenings and assess barriers.
• Develop and monitor individual care plans.
• Coordinate with care team and service providers.
• Act as advocate before agencies and build support networks.
• On-site service delivery and case management.
• Maintain daily contact to identify ongoing needs.
