Job summary

Revel IT is seeking a Field & L2 Support Technician for Radiology IT Services in Columbus, OH. The role combines on-site field support with Level 2 troubleshooting and basic networking to sustain radiology workflows.

You will assist imaging centers, coordinate with central IT, and help with equipment setup, rollouts, and site surveys while documenting resolutions and maintaining inventory. Travel a few times monthly is required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in desktop support (Windows OS, peripherals).
• Working knowledge of radiology systems and workflows desirable.
• Experience with basic switch/router configuration and firewall troubleshooting.
• Comfortable with physical IT setup tasks and equipment installations.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for radiology imaging centers and address hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot workstations, imaging devices, printers, and radiology software (PACS, RIS, PowerScribe, EPIC).
• Act as extension of centralized L2 support for field-based troubleshooting and escalations.
• Perform basic networking tasks including cable testing, port tracing, and light switch/firewall configuration.
• Assist with racking/unracking and physical IT equipment setup in data centers and offices.
• Monitor on-site system performance, document resolutions, and escalate issues as needed.
• Assist with technology rollouts, onboarding, equipment refreshes, and site surveys.
• Maintain accurate local inventory of IT equipment and spares.
• Collaborate with IT teams to improve support processes and infrastructure reliability.
• Deliver high-quality support with urgency and empathy, recognizing IT impact on clinical care.
