Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Quality Manager for the Microwave Line at Syracuse. You will lead a team driving QA across RF/microwave/microelectronic assembly, ensuring AS9100/IA9100 compliance and customer satisfaction.

You will oversee FAI, calibration, and QMS activities, partner with design and production, and drive continuous improvements while upholding regulatory requirements. This 100% on-site role requires travel up to 25% and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field (required).
• 6+ years leadership in a manufacturing environment (aerospace/defense preferred).
• Strong knowledge of AS9100/IA9100, J-STD-001/IPC-610 and related specs.
• Experience with FMEA, root cause analysis, SPC, and lean tools.
• Familiarity with APQP/PPAP and quality planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Quality Engineers, Technicians, and Calibration Manager.
• Ensure product compliance to drawings, specs, and quality standards.
• Contribute to design reviews to improve manufacturability and process optimization.
• Oversee First Article Inspection (AS9102) and ensure proper documentation.
• Manage calibration program through Calibration Manager oversight.
• Support QMS as per AS9100/IA9100 and customer requirements; drive continuous improvement.
• Act as customer quality liaison and coordinate cross-functional resolution of issues.
• Lead internal, customer, and third-party audits and drive corrective actions.
• Drive quality KPIs (scrap, yield, on-time delivery, customer escape); report metrics.
• Champion 9CI program and implement DMAIC, Six Sigma, and other improvements.
• Enforce policies; assign work and manage on-time delivery; work 100% on-site.
