Job summary

Cactus Wellhead is seeking a Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental professional to support the Odessa branch operations in Odessa, TX. This role focuses on implementing and continually improving the Quality Management System (QMS) and Branch Operations System (BOS) across the network.

The candidate will conduct audits, participate in API committees, and lead training initiatives to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and 3-5 years related experience; or 7-8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of Quality Systems, Mechanical, Electronic and Hydraulic experience, measuring and test equipment, dimensional inspection, read and interpret engineering drawings, Advanced Computer Skills, Advanced Language Skills, Strong Mathematical Skills and Advanced Reasoning Ability

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work habits and comply with quality, safety, health and environmental policies and procedures.
• Represent Cactus Wellhead on API Sub-Committee 6 by attending meetings, reviewing API ballots, and commenting on standards.
• Assist with implementation, monitoring and improvement of the Branch Operations System and related processes.
• Conduct branch assessments, internal audits, product audits, process audits and e-audits.
• Provide training to branch associates and follow up on corrective actions.
• Assist with supplier management auditing and development of purchasing specifications to API standards.
• Develop QMS and BOS training presentations and Wellhead 101 toolbox talks.
• Review industry literature to stay updated on quality system improvements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
