Job summary

Saulsbury Industries in Odessa, TX, seeks a Divisional Quality Control Manager to lead the Quality Management System on assigned projects and travel to job sites. You will supervise QA/QC personnel, coordinate certifications with agencies, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.

The role requires AWS-CWI certification, five+ years in heavy industrial oil & gas QA/QC, strong leadership, and safety commitment. Relocation assistance and a company vehicle are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years in a similar role in the Heavy Industrial Oil and Gas industry.
• Strong computer literacy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills at an elevated level.
• Ability to lead, manage and participate in project teams.

Responsibilities

• Interpret quality requirements, codes and standards; provide guidance for inspection, testing and quality services.
• Supervise QC personnel performing audits, inspections, surveillance, and testing.
• Coordinate with external agencies for qualifying procedures and welder certifications; maintain documentation.
• Staff project sites with competent QA/QC personnel; provide training on QC programs.
• Support site personnel in implementing construction and quality control procedures; ensure safety focus.
• Complete all necessary quality and code-related reports; maintain turnover packages.
• Act as internal/lead auditor to ensure QMS conformance to project requirements.
• Monitor new NDE methods and welding processes; coordinate with Engineering on welding options.
