Job summary

Cactus Wellhead in Odessa, TX is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform receiving, in-process and final inspections of wellhead components and assemblies. This role emphasizes compliance with quality systems and customer specifications.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts, processing NCRs, maintaining calibration of test equipment, and supporting field investigations. A GED or high school diploma and 3+ years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• 3+ years of wellhead or valve manufacturing experience in quality control or machining, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Quality Systems and dimensional inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Receiving inspection of Branch Transfers and OEM products (assemblies, finished components, spares).
• Visual and dimensional inspection of wellhead and valve components.
• Process Nonconformance Reports (NCR) at location and support ECN processing.
• Perform in-process and final inspection of equipment and verify signoffs.
• Maintain calibration of branch measurement and test equipment and ensure proper PPE use.
