Job summary

Cactus Wellhead seeks an HSE Specialist to lead safety and environmental initiatives and drive continual improvement in compliance across operations in Odessa, TX. You will develop training, manage incident tracking, and support line management to uphold safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining HSE databases, performing audits, and delivering tailored trainings to all levels. Travel to sites will be required to evaluate safety performance and reinforce a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• University degree (BS/AS) in engineering/science, environmental science, industrial hygiene, occupational safety or health sciences.
• 1–5 years of experience in an HSE compliance role, preferably in Oil & Gas Services.
• Strong written communication and data management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSE initiatives to improve regulatory compliance and safety culture.
• Develop and maintain region-specific HSE databases and training materials.
• Coordinate HSE audits, action tracking, and incident management.
• Support line management in fulfilling HSE duties and inspections.
• Facilitate learning events and safety training for employees.
• Ensure corrective actions are completed in a timely manner.
