Cactus Wellhead seeks an HSE Specialist to lead safety and environmental initiatives and drive continual improvement in compliance across operations in Odessa, TX. You will develop training, manage incident tracking, and support line management to uphold safety standards.
Responsibilities include maintaining HSE databases, performing audits, and delivering tailored trainings to all levels. Travel to sites will be required to evaluate safety performance and reinforce a safety-first culture.
Job Summary: Responsible for leading the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) initiatives to ensure continual improvement in HSE performance, achieving and maintaining high levels of operational compliance with regulatory, business, and other requirements, and promoting and maintaining safe healthy work environments for all employees.
Essential Functions, Roles, and Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following
Education, Training, Experience: University degree (BS or AS) in in technical field (engineering/science, environmental science, industrial hygiene, occupational safety, and health sciences) 1 - 5 years of experience in an HSE compliance role preferably within an Oil & Gas Service company; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: None required
