Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager I to own the project QC program on a single site. You will maintain the ITP, schedule/witness tests, and generate daily QC reports, managing NCRs with the engineer of record.

You will sponsor certifications and ensure audit-ready files, guiding junior inspectors toward the next career step within a strong QC culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing or QC.
• At least one of ACI Grade I, NICET II, ICC special inspector, or USACE CQM-C.
• Able to read specifications and drawings and turn them into a test schedule.
• Direct, organized and able to tell a superintendent that a lift does not pass.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and the testing frequency log against the specifications.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests; verify certifications of technicians.
• Write the daily quality control report and three-phase meeting records.
• Open, track and close nonconformance reports with the superintendent and engineer of record.
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready.
