Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager I to own and manage the site QC program. You will maintain the ITP, schedule and witness tests, and ensure certifications are current, while coordinating with the superintendent and engineer of record.

The role starts at the project level under a senior manager and offers career growth into higher QC management. You’ll lead the three-phase meeting records, track nonconformances, and keep submittal and material files

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing or QC
• Ability to read and translate specs/drawings into a test plan
• Willingness to lead and own nonconformance handling

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and testing frequency log
• Schedule and witness field and lab tests
• Verify technician certifications and calibrations
• Write the daily quality control report and NCR communications
• Open, track, and close nonconformance reports with the superintendent and engineer of record
