Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager I to own the quality control program on a single project under a senior manager. You will maintain the ITP, schedule and witness tests, and write the daily QC report, while tracking nonconformances to closure.

This role offers a path to Quality Manager II and requires strong reading of specs/drawings, relevant certifications, and clear communication with superintendents. Travel and site coordination are involved.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in construction materials testing or QC roles.
• At least one certification: ACI Grade I, NICET II, ICC inspector, or USACE CQM-C.
• Ability to read specs and drawings and convert them into a test schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and the testing frequency log against the specifications.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests.
• Write the daily quality control report and the three-phase meeting records.
