Job summary

The Korte Company seeks an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager for an upcoming project in Las Vegas, NV. You will oversee QA/QC efforts on DoD/USACE/NAVFAC commercial construction and ensure compliance with contract plans and specs.

Join a strong, successful team with opportunities for growth and travel. Must have 5+ years in QC roles, CQM certification, and Procore experience. This position requires on-site work at the project site and occasional relocation.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting contract plans and specs for construction.
• Documentation of field testing activities and logs.
• Experience coordinating preparatory, initial and final quality control phases.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret contract plans and specifications to determine construction requirements.
• Document and update field testing logs.
• Conduct, attend and document preparatory meetings.
• Coordinate three phases of control plan: Preparatory, Initial and Final Phases.
• Maintain quality control through frequent inspections of work and work-in-progress.
• Complete all reports and records accurately and timely.
• Maintain an orderly and clean jobsite.
• Lead punchlist inspection, documentation and trade follow-up.
• Enter critical information into USACE RMS / NAVFAC E-CMS systems.
• National travel and potential relocation with short notice is required.
