Big-D Mission Critical is seeking a dynamic Quality Control Manager to ensure QC across complex MEP and commissioning activities on commercial construction projects. The role can be based in Salt Lake City, UT, Reno, NV or performed in a traveling capacity, with on-site presence as required by contract documents.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management with 5 years of related experience (or 10 years total), strong knowledge of construction practices

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management with 5 years of related experience on commercial projects.
• Field experience in the assigned discipline (architectural, electrical, mechanical, civil, etc.).
• Advanced understanding of construction quality control and ability to manage and supervise teams.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for all QC areas, including compliance with the “BIG-D Quality Control Policies.”
• Plans QC efforts to coordinate with the project schedule.
• Assists Superintendent to coordinate quality requirements for subcontractors’ work.
• Assists with the commissioning process as needed.
• Conforms to all contractual requirements, specifications, codes and standards.
• Compiles accurate records of test certifications and other required documentation.
• Creates and maintains deficiency tracking logs and notifies project management of quality discrepancies.
