Job summary
Kiewit is seeking a Project Quality Manager for an on-site role in the Seattle area to lead the quality control program on a design-build construction project. You will develop and oversee quality plans, manage QA/QC activities, and ensure compliance with codes and standards essential to timely, safe delivery.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering/architecture/construction management and 10+ years in QC/Construction Management, with USACE RMS and Three-Phase Inspection System
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
- Minimum 10 years’ construction experience as QC Manager or Construction Manager.
- Experience with USACE Quality Control, RMS, and Three-Phase Inspection System (minimum 6 years).
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain project quality plans for all divisions.
- Interpret construction documents and codes to prepare QC plans and inspection checklists.
- Oversee QA/QC activities performed by subcontractors and inspection services.
- Lead or participate in site meetings including 3D model coordination and commissioning.
- Identify and resolve quality concerns with time, budget, and safety considerations.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, test reports, turnover docs, and quality metrics.
- Conduct quality audits and field reviews to ensure conformance and drive improvements.
- Assist with investigation and resolution of quality issues and client concerns.
