Job summary

Coakley & Williams Construction seeks a Quality Control Manager to lead project QC programs and manage submittal and RFI processes from startup through closeout. This role serves as the central coordinator for QA/QC inspections, documentation, and closeout activities on government/institutional projects.

The successful candidate will have NAVFAC/USACE QC experience and be proficient with MS Office, Prolog, Bluebeam, BIM, and Primavera scheduling.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in construction-related field required.
• 3 years submittal coordination and QC inspection experience with 5 years CM experience.
• Strong NAVFAC/USACE QC knowledge and project experience.
• OSHA 30 hour, CQM, First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Prolog, Bluebeam; BIM/Primavera knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety program per policy and regulations.
• Implement and maintain the Quality Control Program per plans and submittals.
• Lead Phase I Preparatory Meeting and review requirements for tasks.
• Lead Phase II Initial Inspection of materials, personnel, equipment.
• Oversee Phase III Follow-up Inspections throughout construction.
• Manage submittal process including log creation and tracking.
• Manage RFI process including creation, logging, and distribution.
• Document owner, subcontractor, and QC meetings; issue minutes.
• Maintain electronic as-builts and redlines.
• Compile closeout binders and finalize punch-out items.
• Utilize current construction technology and software on projects.
