Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Omaha, NE is seeking an experienced QA/QC professional to implement the project-specific QA/QC Plan and ensure contract compliance. The role focuses on planning, documenting, and reporting adherence to contract documents on site.

You will lead QA/QC activities with project teams, perform testing and inspections, manage RFIs and change orders, and drive continuous quality improvements across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with minimum five years' experience in construction or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the construction process, means and methods, materials and tolerances.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Turner's project management software and leadership skills.
• Very strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive working knowledge of contract documents and QA/QC plans.
• Develop and execute the project-specific QA/QC Plan with scopes of work.
• Create and track RFIs, material samples, documentation and cost-change tracking.
• Coordinate QA/QC with safety plan and project schedule.
• Ensure adherence to ethics and compliance requirements at all times.
• Establish relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors to ensure compliance.
• Oversee development of DCRs and punch lists throughout the project.
• Direct removal/replacement of non-compliant materials and document corrective actions.
