Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks a detail-oriented Senior QA/QC Construction Project Manager to support and oversee quality assurance on construction and renovation projects, ensuring compliance with standards, safety, and regulatory expectations while supporting delivery.

This on-site role focuses on implementing QA/QC plans, conducting site inspections, and coordinating with contractors and project teams to manage risks and documentation, with potential travel depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in construction QA/QC or project coordination (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree).
• Experience implementing QA/QC programs and supporting construction site operations.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and submittal processes.
• Knowledge of OSHA and construction safety practices.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC plans across construction projects to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and reviews to verify quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Review construction drawings and submittals for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
• Support RFI and submittal processes and ensure proper documentation and tracking.
• Identify, document, and help resolve quality issues, non-conformances, and risks.
• Maintain detailed project documentation including inspection reports, meeting minutes, and compliance records.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure adherence to QA/QC processes.
• Support project reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) related to quality metrics and construction progress.
• Assist in managing project risks related to quality, safety, and compliance.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate QA/QC updates with stakeholders.
• Review as-built documentation and assist in project closeout activities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
