Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a QA/QC Lead for an on-site role based out of our Denver office, with project location in Corinne, UT. You will plan and implement the project-specific QA/QC Plan, coordinating with owners, architects, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure full contract compliance and high-quality delivery.

You will supervise QA/QC staff, enforce ethics and compliance, and continuously improve QA/QC procedures as the project evolves.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of five years' experience in construction or related field.
• Knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, materials, tolerances.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Turner's project management software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven leadership qualities and ability to mentor staff.
• QA/QC certification may be required depending on project.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and develop the project-specific QA/QC Plan.
• Maintain and administer the QA/QC Plan with project team and stakeholders.
• Ensure sufficient qualified staff are assigned to QA/QC tasks.
• Lead and develop QA/QC staff; conduct performance appraisals.
• Ensure ethics and compliance at all times.
• Understand contract documents and implement procedures.
• Develop document control, RFIs, samples, and change order tracking.
• Coordinate QA/QC with safety plan and project schedule.
• Conduct testing and inspections; arrange third-party testing.
• Close-out oversight and quality reporting.
