Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the United States seeks a Senior QA/QC Construction Project Manager to oversee quality assurance on active construction and renovation projects.

You will implement QA/QC plans, conduct site inspections, review drawings, manage documentation, and report quality metrics while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. On-site role with potential travel, collaboration with contractors and stakeholders, and SOX responsibilities where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in construction QA/QC or project coordination (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree).
• Experience implementing QA/QC programs and supporting construction site operations.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and submittal processes.
• Knowledge of OSHA and construction safety practices.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC plans across construction projects to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and reviews to verify quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Review drawings and submittals for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
• Support RFI and submittal processes and ensure proper documentation and tracking.
• Identify, document, and help resolve quality issues, non-conformances, and risks.
• Maintain detailed project documentation including inspection reports and meeting minutes.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure QA/QC adherence.
• Support project reporting related to quality metrics and construction progress.
