Job summary

Managed Care Staffers is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator in Chicago, IL for a temporary full-time, temp-to-hire role on-site. You will process requisitions and purchase orders, maintain vendor records, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, and help ensure purchased products meet quality and pricing standards.

The ideal candidate has experience in purchasing or procurement, strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel), excellent communication, and meticulous data entry.

Qualifications

• Prior purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• ISO/TS 16949, TL 9000, AS 9100 familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process requisitions and POs for supplies and equipment.
• Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
• Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and internal departments.
• Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Review vendor offers, pricing, and product information.
• Enter orders into internal databases accurately.
• Maintain purchasing documentation and training records.
