Qualifications

• 2–4 years of solid purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication, metal fabrication, machining, or a similar industry.
• Proficient with ERP/MRP systems and intermediate Excel.

Responsibilities

• Create Purchase Orders and obtain the appropriate approvals.
• Initiate contact with Vendors to check availability of needed supplies.
• Ensure correct number of materials are delivered and on time.
• Verify shipment to ensure quality and quantity of purchased items.
• Monitor all purchase requisitions and handle discrepancies/adjustments with vendors.
• Process proof of deliver.
