Job summary

Hydro, Inc. is seeking a Field Technical Advisor to provide on-site preventive and corrective maintenance, install equipment for customers, and train staff. You will act as a primary customer liaison, addressing issues and driving retention to support long-term profitability.

Responsibilities include gathering product information, identifying sales leads, and documenting competitive data while working closely with sales and support teams to ensure service excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years field or shop experience with high-energy pumps and pumping equipment.
• High school diploma and a clean legal record essential.
• Cross-OEM experience is a major plus.
• Previous aftermarket sales experience.
• Good general computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site preventive and corrective maintenance of assigned equipment.
• Install and troubleshoot equipment for new customers and extensions for existing customers.
• Provide training and ongoing support to customers, sales, and in-house staff.
• Act as a customer liaison and help resolve customer issues.
• Drive customer retention and loyalty for Hydro Inc. to increase long-term profitability.
• Gather customer information, including product and business information.
• Proactively identify customer dissatisfaction and resolve problems promptly.
• Identify sales leads and feed information back to Hydro Sales.
• Collect and document competitive information.
