Job summary

Motion is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to perform on-site service, diagnostics, repair, and installation of hydraulic systems and related equipment for clients, with regional responsibility.

The role involves 24/7 on-call support, safety compliance, and providing technical training to customers, plus mentoring junior technicians. Requires a technical degree and 5+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a technical degree and five (5) or more years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• On-site service for clients, including on-site emergency repairs and upgrades.
• Install, diagnostics, repair, and support for customer-installed equipment.
• Diagnose problems, assess issues, document findings, and decide parts to replace.
• Conduct technical analyses of product implementations and enhancements per customer specs.
• Keep customers informed and suggest system upgrades or repairs.
• Work with limited supervision on moderately complex repairs/installations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Provide technical support and training to customers on system operation.
• Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
