Job summary

Irvine Company Apartment Communities is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead property damage repair and reconstruction for a portfolio of apartment communities. You will ensure timely, on-budget delivery while coordinating with onsite teams, vendors, and risk/legal stakeholders.

The role requires 5–8 years in multi-family maintenance/construction management, with PMP/IICRC preferred, and 90% on-site presence to supervise work and ensure compliance with safety and environmental

Qualifications

5-8 years of experience in multi-family maintenance or construction management
PMI/PMP or IICRC certifications preferred
Ability to work on-site ~90% of the time and manage vendor progress

Responsibilities

End-to-end repair and reconstruction lifecycle management, including inspections, scope, permits, and site walks
Oversee environmental processes for mold/asbestos, surveys, air clearances, containment
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to meet budgets, scopes, and schedules
Track KPIs like cost per incident and reconstruction duration to drive efficiency
Oversee financials, scopes of work, POs, and GL coding for budget accuracy
Serve as liaison among onsite teams, Risk Management, and Legal for incidents
Analyze trends and root causes to prevent recurrence with cross-functional teams
