Job summary

RPM Living in Goodyear, AZ seeks a Maintenance Manager to coordinate with the Community Manager and Assistant Manager to safely maintain the property within budget and improve NOI. You will lead a maintenance team and ensure timely repairs and resident satisfaction.

You will supervise maintenance operations, oversee HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, and implement preventive maintenance while ensuring OSHA compliance and delivering cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years of multifamily maintenance experience and/or training; combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Minimum of one year supervisory experience – Preferred.
• EPA certification required.
• CPO – Preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure proper maintenance of the property and grounds; lead maintenance staff.
• Maintain the property's operating budget and secure competitive bids for supplies and services.
• Process purchase orders (POs) and invoices to control costs.
• Review and prioritize work orders; ensure timely completion and resident satisfaction; maintain records in system.
• Oversee maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and compliance with fire and safety codes; oversee construction projects.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to maintain functionality.
• Liaise with property manager; respond to maintenance emergencies; follow up with residents to ensure satisfaction; cost-saving initiatives.
