Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Maintenance Manager to coordinate with the Community Manager to maintain the property to RPM standards, safely and within budget, while contributing to resident retention through prompt repairs.

You will supervise maintenance staff, manage budgets and bids, handle work orders, ensure safety and compliance, and mentor the team to deliver efficient services across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, with after-hours on-call support.

Qualifications

• Two years of multifamily maintenance experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience will be considered.
• EPA certification required
• CPO – Preferred
• Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management proficiency

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the proper maintenance of the property and grounds.
• Maintain the property's operating budget and secure competitive bids for supplies and services.
• Process purchase orders (POs) and invoices to keep costs under control.
• Review and prioritize work orders to ensure timely completion and resident satisfaction.
• Oversee maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of the community, including fire and safety compliance.
• Troubleshooting and repair of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Liaise with the property manager and respond to maintenance emergencies.
• Implement preventative maintenance plans and be on call for after-hours emergencies.
• Mentor and train maintenance team members.
