Job summary

Royal American Management seeks a Maintenance Superintendent to oversee preservation and upkeep of our properties. Under supervision of the Community Manager, you will implement safety policies, schedule preventive maintenance, and coordinate with vendors.

You will inspect units and common areas, perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical tasks, and manage records. EPA certification and OSHA awareness are required; on-site availability for emergencies is expected.

Qualifications

• Read and follow service requests and safety instructions.
• Maintain OSHA safety standards and company policies.
• Understand building codes and permit requirements.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Possess EPA certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on all property equipment.
• Inspect units and common areas; repair and refurbish as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized work.
• Ensure safe operation of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Keep accurate records of work orders and inventories.
• Assist in custodial tasks and maintenance of amenities.
