Job summary

Sun Communities in Grand Island, FL is seeking a Senior Community Manager to oversee operations and profitability of the community. You will serve as the day-to-day contact for residents, be on-call 24/7, and handle administrative tasks, marketing, leasing, home sales, maintenance, budgeting and HR duties.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational and negotiation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Hospitality, or Business preferred.
• 4 years in property management experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience required.
• 6 months in prior sales and leasing experience required.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Markets homes for sale within the community.
• Prepare documents to list and sell homes.
• Resolves complaints and responds promptly to issues.
• Manage rent collection and delinquency processes.
• Oversee evictions in accordance with Sun policies.
• Code and approve operating and sales invoices.
• Coordinate team selection and development.
• Assist with marketing strategies.
• Coordinate leasing of homes, repairs and turnovers.
• Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and regulations.
• Initiate lease renewals and rent increases.
• Inspect and coordinate purchase/renovation of homes.
• Prepare sites for models and coordinate maintenance for move-ins.
• Handle onsite emergencies per SOPs.
• Ensure safety policy compliance and incident reporting.
• Maintain curb appeal and budgeting data for CapEx.
