Job summary

Sun Communities & Sun Outdoors seeks a Senior Community Manager to oversee operations and profitability of a community, acting as the main resident contact and on-call 24/7. Responsibilities include administering leasing, maintenance, budgeting, HR, and resident relations.

Key duties cover marketing and selling homes, rent collection, expense monitoring, and ensuring regulatory compliance with fair housing laws. On-site housing is provided in many communities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Hospitality, or Business preferred.
• 4 years in property management experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience required.
• 6 months in prior sales and leasing experience required.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance and fair housing laws.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, email, and internet.

Responsibilities

• Markets models, pre-owned and brokered homes for sale in the community.
• Resolves complaints and responds to issues promptly.
• Manages rent collection and delinquency processes.
• Handles delinquencies and eviction proceedings per Sun's policies.
• Monitors invoices for operating expenses and sales costs.
• Coordinates team member selection and development and ensures policy compliance.
• Assists with marketing strategies.
• Coordinates lease homes, repairs, leasing activity, refurbishments and move-ins.
