Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. seeks an experienced Community Manager to oversee all aspects of property operations, budgeting, and on-site team performance. The role focuses on maximizing cash flow, maintaining the asset, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering superior resident service.

This position requires five days a week in office. A BA/BS and 5+ years in residential property management (supervisory) are required, with COS/LIHTC/ARM/CPMC designations preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS and 5+ years in residential property management, supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of federal housing laws and guidelines required.
• Proficiency with Yardi or similar property management software; MS Office suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage operating budgets, billing, reports, and all accounting functions.
• Monitor rent collection, nonpayment processes, and collections.
• Oversee property upkeep, safety, inspections, and risk documentation.
• Provide outstanding resident service and coordinate community activities.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate site team; respond to emergencies and weekend duties.
