Kelly Engineering is seeking a Project Specialist to join a leading client in Wixom, MI, focusing on industrial metrology, precision measurement, and quality assurance. The onsite role requires coordinating with engineering, sales, and finance to manage documentation, timelines, and budgets.

The position involves back-office duties with some field meetings and travel to other facilities. Strong MS Office, SAP, and SharePoint experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent in Business or PM.
• Strong knowledge of Excel/Word/Project.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• 3–5 years in a demanding project management environment.
• Able to operate with minimal supervision.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Experience organizing documents using SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop Scope of Work for project proposals.
• Create margin spreadsheets for projects.
• Define revenue recognition and invoice milestones.
• Coordinate with departments to gather customer specifications.
• Create proposal documents for clients.
• Support Sales and PM teams with customer meetings pre/post-sale.
• Maintain project quote log and documentation (gate reviews, POs, SOs).
• Create and maintain WBS and project timelines (MS Project/SAP).
• Track billable hours and expenses; distribute weekly customer reports.
• Organize project files and participate in process improvements.
