Job summary

ZEISS Group in Wixom, MI is seeking a Regional Applications Manager to lead the center’s growth, safety, and profitability. You will coordinate customer projects, programming services, and training, manage equipment and personnel, and partner with sales and operations to rapidly expand the contract inspection business.

The role requires 5–10 years of management with direct reports, 7–10 years in a metrology lab, and a four-year degree in engineering, math, or physics.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of management experience with direct reports.
• Seven to ten years of hands-on metrology lab experience.
• A four-year degree in engineering, math, or physics is preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings for dimensional control requirements.
• Ability to operate a ZEISS coordinate measuring machine and program with ZEISS software.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth and service center leadership by aligning sales and operations to rapidly expand contract inspection services.
• Drive productivity improvements and asset utilization with innovative processes.
• Ensure utilization of ZEISS productivity tools and maintain a master schedule for resources and equipment.
• Prepare technical content for proposals and review jobs with customers to ensure readiness and satisfaction.
• Coordinate service repairs, calibrations, and proper lab documentation to meet quality standards.
