Job summary

Hoffman Construction Co of America seeks a Project Engineer for a Water Reclamation Facility project on-site in Boise, Idaho. You will support the engineering team, coordinate among design professionals, subcontractors, and client stakeholders, and help maintain safety, quality, and constructability standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Project Engineering experience in commercial building construction.
• Water treatment facility project experience is highly preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in civil, mechanical, electrical, structural eng., construction management or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support meetings with area managers, design teams, and subcontractors.
• Interface between managers and subcontractors to resolve field coordination items.
• Review and interpret design documents and quantify materials for construction.
• Coordinate CSA systems within the project scope.
• Assist with training client personnel on CSA systems.
• Process shop drawings and submittals; ensure constructability.
• Prepare and distribute RFIs and change documents.
• Support BIM coordination and clash resolution processes.
• Participate in QA/QC activities and system start-up.
• Assist in commissioning and turnover of systems.
• Serve as on-site technical advisor in the field.
• Provide field technical support including layout and sequencing.
• Document as-built conditions; attend pre-installation meetings.
• Collaborate with MEP engineers for system integration.
