Job summary

Hoffman Construction is seeking a Project Engineer for the Water Reclamation Facility Project in Boise, Idaho. This on-site role supports the Engineering Department, coordinating design professionals, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to resolve field issues and maintain constructability.

Salary ranges from $78,000 to $130,000 plus incentives. The position requires a minimum of 3 years in project engineering with a BS in a technical field or equivalent craft experience, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of project engineering in commercial/building construction; water treatment facility experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of means, methods, sequencing, and commissioning workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent craft experience.
• Proficiency with project management and design software listed above.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support meetings with area managers, design teams, subs, and client reps.
• Coordinate CSA systems and ensure constructability across disciplines.
• Review drawings, submittals, RFI processing, and field directives.
• Support BIM coordination, clash detection, and QA/QC activities.
• Assist commissioning and turnover of systems; act as on-site technical advisor.
