Job summary

JE Dunn Construction's Advanced Facilities Group is hiring an entry-level construction professional in Lake Charles, LA. You will work with the project team on safety, QA/QC, estimating, and site operations to support large industrial projects.

The role offers exposure to cutting-edge construction practices, Lean methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration with foremen, journeymen, and subcontractors. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be willing to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Entry level construction experience welcomed.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Learn and participate in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Assist with project QA/QC planning for tasks.
• Assist in estimating, quantity take-off, and subcontractor proposals review.
• Support site team with monitoring crew, materials, and equipment.
