Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an entry-level professional to join the Advanced Facilities Group in the Dallas area. You’ll be embedded with project teams across Industrial, Data Center and Manufacturing projects, contributing to safety, quality and on-site operations.

You will learn estimating, procurement and daily reporting while developing collaboration with foremen, superintendents and trades. This role emphasizes Lean practices and growth within a leading construction firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• Entry level construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Learns and actively participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Participates with project QA/QC planning to ensure quality for assigned tasks.
• Learns and participates in estimating and change management processes, including quantity take-off and review of subcontractor proposals.
• Works on site with the project team to support monitoring crew size, hours, materials, quantity and equipment.
• Participates in punch lists, city inspections, safety reviews, quality reviews and preparation of documentation.
• Posts drawings and specifications with most recent information; organizes project meetings and disseminates documentation.
• Prepares reports including daily reports, weekly progress, unit reporting, percentage complete, daily manpower and schedules.
• Performs periodic job site observations with project leadership and provides updates to support scheduling.
• Creates procurement logs and tracks shop drawings and deliveries per project requirements.
• Supports the close out of projects including punch lists and as-built drawings.
