Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the technical and engineering aspects of projects, coordinating daily with clients, trade partners, engineers, and architects. You will plan, schedule, predict, and manage technical tasks to ensure accuracy, resources, and quality across the project lifecycle.

The role requires collaboration on submittals, schedules, change orders, and cost estimation, with a hands-on site environment and a strong emphasis on safety and Clark

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as an engineer, project engineer, or similar role in construction.
• Experience in scheduling, cost engineering, subcontract coordination, and project administration.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers in purchasing activities including scoping and take-offs.
• Prepare and forward submittals; confirm submittal compliance with plans/specs.
• Support development and updating of project schedules and subcontractor detail schedules.
• Play a lead role in the development of project plans.
• Monitor and expedite material deliveries aligning with the project schedule.
• Review change proposals from trade partners and negotiate as appropriate.
• Draft change orders.
