Job summary

Fleet Data Centers seeks a Project Engineer to support owner-side controls for data center projects. This on-site role focuses on governance, decisions, RFIs, submittals, and turnover from Sparks, NV, with an emphasis on documentation and cross-functional coordination.

You will maintain project records, track actions, and prepare status reports, working with Construction Managers and stakeholders to drive timely decisions and closures. Salary ranges reflect on-site expectations and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical construction experience.
• Strong organizational and documentation discipline.
• Familiarity with Procore or similar PM systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Document governance: maintain organized records aligned with Fleet standards.
• Track owner decisions, open actions, and turnover requirements to closure.
• Log, route, and track RFIs and submittals for owner action coverage.
• Prepare and maintain recurring project reports and status logs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to obtain timely responses and updates.
• Capture meeting notes, assign owners, and follow up on actions.
• Support tracking of long-lead equipment status and OFCI information.
• Monitor turnover readiness and closeout deliverables.
