Telcom Construction, LLC in Maple Grove, MN is hiring a full-time, 100% on-site Project Specialist to support our construction and telecom field teams. This ground-floor role is designed for organized, career-minded professionals with strong computer skills who want to interpret prints, verify field as-builts, and communicate across teams.

You’ll set up new projects, manage files and permits, track progress, assist with closeouts, and help with reporting and billing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable with basic math.
• Ability to read and understand project instructions, work orders, and reports.
• Basic computer skills; Google Workspace experience a plus.
• Stay organized and work independently with minimal guidance.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up new projects and keeping project files organized and up to date.
• Support project documentation, including permits, scheduling updates, and progress tracking.
• Help review and prepare project paperwork for final closeouts.
• Learn how to track project activity and support accurate reporting and billing.
• Provide assistance to other project team members as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Support company policies, procedures, and safety initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Some travel may be required.
