Telcom Construction, LLC is hiring a full-time, on-site Project Specialist to support our construction and telecom field teams in Marion, IA. The role focuses on organizing project files, processing documentation, and assisting with closeouts and reporting. Background checks and drug testing are required.

The position offers strong growth opportunities, daily use of computer tools, and collaboration across departments in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable with basic math operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Ability to read and understand project instructions, work orders, and reports.
• Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, word processing, PDFs). Google Workspace experience is a plus.
• Ability to stay organized, manage tasks, and work independently with minimal guidance.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up new projects and keeping project files organized and up to date.
• Support project documentation, including permits, scheduling updates, and progress tracking.
• Help review and prepare project paperwork for final closeouts.
• Learn how to track project activity and support accurate reporting and billing.
• Provide assistance to other project team members as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Support company policies, procedures, and safety initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
